I'm helping to roll out and develop the website of the primary school my children go to (www.broadgate.leeds.sch.uk). Working with staff, governors and parents, I've been reviewing the systems and content as initially implemented, and identifying best practice in the sector.
As well as improving the look and feel of the website, I've been keen to turn it into a useful resource for the pupils, their parents and their teachers, by ensuring content stays fresh and relevant.
Broadgate is a great school, as demonstrated by their recent excellent Ofsted report - "pupils thoroughly enjoy their education and achieve well ... its work with families and the community is an outstanding strength ... an excellent track record of helping children, particularly those who are vulnerable, to get the best from school" - and I'm glad I can help in this way.

As well as deputising for the Registrar, I provide staff and students of the University with effective IT-based business processes relating to all aspects of student admin, as well as reliable student and programme management information.
I am responsible for the strategic development of the student information system across the University, and for the strategic and operational integration of it with other University IT systems, eg HR, Timetable, Finance, VLE and Library.
I am responsible for the day-to-day delivery of business processes for student admin across the University, including the enrolment of students on programmes and modules, and for ensuring that students progress through their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study in accordance with the regulations. I have a team of eight that, amongst other things, administer the exams and assessments at the University, as well as organise the graduation ceremonies and the production of certificates and transcripts.
