I was responsible for the overall user experience at Become.com. I introduced user-centered design principles including persona development, rapid prototypijng with wireframes and usability testing. I created high-fidelity mockups in html/css/js, including building funtional AJAX prototypes. Notable features that I initiated, designed and developed include: the "suggest as you type" search suggestions, the "My Favorites" feature, shop filters, the interactive shop grid view and the community-based shopping lists.

I was responsible for the front-end design and development for a number of large-scale science portals and medical journals. I led design projects; walked clients through design requirements, created design deliverables such as user-interface specifications, wireframes, mockups and styleguides; coded in html, CSS, javascript, an in-house template language, and occasionally Perl.
