While developing and producing my own content in film and interactive media, I work as a freelance screenwriter and as a production executive. My background ranges from theater to the sciences, and I love telling human stories in utterly fantastic settings.
With the sale of two films I helped put into production, I'll be seeing the money to begin production on my debut feature, a strange little comedy called "Sam Bailey". In the meantime, I'm focused on selling a handful of spec scripts and on broadening my network and understanding of the business.
Screenwriting, directing, and producing are my focus, and other areas where I have a lot of experience include sales, investing, film market trends, contracts, writing, and management.

For a film to realize its full creative and financial potential, every element of the film's development should reflect the overall goals of the project. From the work of developing the script and securing the financing to eventual distribution, a consensus on what the film is intended to accomplish insures that everyone is working to solve the same problems. Great films are made by teams of talented people united by a common intent.
8 Sided Films represents my stewardship over those stories born from intent too multifaceted or unique for studio production, and my commitment to honoring that intent from page to screen and beyond.

For the first several years, my daily duties at Unified Pictures revolved around connecting investment dollars and independent feature films, although I've performed duties ranging from script analysis to hands-on construction. More recently, I've been taking over the company's social media and publicity writing. For more information on Unified Pictures, visit www.unifiedpictures.com.

My stories follow ordinary people through extraordinary circumstances. Any story that immerses my characters in a setting or circumstance that feels new to me will attract my attention, and I gravitate towards genres like science fiction and fantasy.
