Tegan is a recent graduate from the University of Iowa, where she earned a BA in Communication Studies with Distinction in Journalism from the University in May 2009.
As an undergrad, Tegan became interested in public relations and was involved in various organizations including the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), serving as the President and Firm Director, and the National Society of Success and Leadership, serving as the Public Relations Director, among many others.
She also had the opportunity to intern with Universal Pictures for two years as a Campus Rep and marketing intern. In 2008, Tegan spent the summer in New York City as an intern for Sarah Hall Productions, a boutique public relations agency.
Throughout her multiple internships, Tegan has learned the basic in's and out's of public relations and client management, multiple media landscapes, and the importance of hard work. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, exploring social media, and attending Young Professional events in Chicago.
Tegan is a results-driven and determined individual looking forward to what lies ahead. She is excited to create meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues while growing as a professional.
