ABOUT ME
=======================================
I'm a promiscuous networker (some call it Open Networker :-)) and will accept your invites.

So what is the benefit of connecting with me? With close to 11.000 direct connections recruiters can get in touch with more candidates. I will forward all your request within 24 hours unless you are reaching out to my companies employees.

Normal hard working souls can on the other hand be reached by recruiters who have that dream job you have been waiting for. You won't get spammed by me directly unless you have the profile I'm searching for. If however you have not selected "job opportunities" as one of the reasons to contact you I will respect that!

Don't ask me for recommendations if you haven't worked with me!

    - global escalation point

Great company with a great history (founded by Hewlett and Packard) and I was working with some awesome recruiters and senior recruitment leaders. I've learned a lot about working on a global level in a high-tech environment with demanding internal customers. I think my greatest achievement (IMHO) was turning around a reactive post and pray recruitment organization to a trusted, streamlined, proactive sourcing machine. As a result our TAT's and agency usage went down while hiring manager satisfaction went up from 5.8 to 7.8 in 2 years time. Unfortunately I was made redundant due to the financial crisis.

  • Recruitment Manager Europe

    Affiliated Computer Services (ACS Inc)

(Public Company; ACS; Information Technology and Services industry)

    May 2004April 2006 (2 years)

Responsible for European Recruitment for ACS. One of the largest outsourcing companies for ITO, HRO and F&A.

    - shared service center in Barcelona, Spain - 465 annually
    - shared service center in Krakow, Poland - involved in labor pool assessment and ramp up of the site.
    - personally hired 125 senior managers in 2 years for projects and corporate
    - design and implementation of EMEA recruitment process
    - development recruitment bonus based on quality hires
    - development and implementation of recruitment metrics
    - managing a team of 4 recruiters

What a wild ride has this been! ACS must be the most chaotic company in the world - growing too fast due to acquisitions (through outsourcing projects), continuously changing management and focus - great people in Europe (well, I recruited most of them myself ;-) and the steepest learning curve you can imagine. Huge workload and huge fun factor - it was hard to leave my great team behind but Agilent offered more international exposure and more global projects.
