He is responsible for securing grants from IBM and other companies totaling over $3,000,000 in cash, equipment, and gifts-in-kind over a three year period. David helped lead a Katrina database collaboration project: Data shared with Red Cross and other local agencies – soon over 7000 evacuees were able to access continuing services by registering online at www.unitedwaycrisisrecovery.org, or by phone.
