I am a developer, specialising in web based projects. I have a year of professional experience within large multi-national organisations in the media and aeronautic sectors. I am experienced with classic ASP and PHP technologies. I grew up in a bilingual French and English family. I'm studying Computer Science and Management at the University of Edinburgh. Before that, I studied Electronics and Industrial Computing in France until 2005.
Major Achievements:
* Developed an intranet hot desk booking application for the BBC, Factual & Learning department. The BBC is planning to expand the application to other departments; it is used to reduce costs; to improve the space utilisation and helps people to meet within the company.
* Part of the team that developed an intranet application designed to manage the contract between the BBC and Siemens for out-sourcing BBC Technology, my tasks included daily collecting and processing bidder’s data, generating new reports. The BBC Technology sale was valued at over £2 billion. The whole process was achieved in less than 7 months; this was only made possible by the application.
* I was part of the development team that built a Public Key Infrastructure for EADS Socata. Key responsibilities included understanding the requirements and making technology choices. The application enabled users to digitally sign and crypt documents or messages with their own certificate to secure transmitted documents preventing corruption of data and hacks.
