I came to Omnicare in February 2005 as a help desk technician. After a few months, I began training all the new techs as they joined the team. Almost two years later, I was promoted to assistant help desk manager. Another two years later and I am managing the help desk along with another manager.

My job role recently changed considerably, as I my previous boss was reallocated to a company project. Much of my day is spent assisting the techs with solving problems and teaching them how to resolve issues. The rest is personnel time, where I sign time sheets, attend meetings, review workloads and special projects, etc. My day basically consists of a hundred micro-projects in between the major roles that I fill.
