  In 2009, I have had stories published in Maxim, New York Daily News, Metromix (nationally and locally), St. Petersburg Times, tbt* Tampa Bay Times, Miami New Times, Broward-Palm Beach New Times, Portland Press Herald, Orlando Weekly, the Bradenton Herald, and Hippo Press.
  
  From January to August of 2009, I wrote the Barfly column for the St. Petersburg Times and its sister tabloid tbt* Tampa Bay Times. In past I have also written for No Depression, Pop Matters, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay (staff features writer/music critic/Bar Tab author 2007-2009), Creative Loafing Sarasota (music critic 2007-2009), Weekly Planet, Tampa Bay Illustrated, Sarasota-Herald-Tribune (music correspondent/nightlife columnist), and Bradenton Herald (staff features writer/music critic/nightlife columnist 2004-2007). While at the Herald, my articles appeared in newspapers nationwide including the Chicago Tribune, Denver Post, and San Diego Union-Tribune.
  
  I am also an experienced copywriter and spent a year as marketing director for the Sarasota Film Society.
