Highlights of the re-architected system include a componentized architecture that utilizes Object-to-Relational (O/R) mapping, a sophisticated in-memory data caching algorithm, and a highly re-factored code base to maximize reusability and ease of maintenance.
• Served as the Enterprise Architect for a $2B division of a Fortune 10 company to establish their technology strategy and realign their IT organization to achieve better agility.
• Led a SWAT team to diagnose and improve performance issues of a major e-commerce application built using Microsoft technologies including MTS/COM+ and Visual Basic resulting in a performance improvement from over 60 seconds per transaction to less than five seconds a transaction.
