Sharlyne C. Thomas was raised in the Christian faith and has served as a prayer warrior and intercessor since 2003. Her debut published work, "When Heaven Hears Your Prayer," is the first volume in a series of inspirational books rooted in scripture. Sharlyne was given the vision for Sword of the Spirit Ministries in 2005 and has since then sought the Lord for direction regarding her divine purpose – to edify the body of Christ through prayer and exhortation. She has begun to fulfill this calling by distributing her monthly e-newsletter, Take Up Thy Sword. Sharlyne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies and was previously employed in the mortgage industry for 10 years. She is now establishing her own business, SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE WRITING AND EDITING SERVICES, as she pursues her gift and passion for writing, speaking, and proofreading/editing. Sharlyne is on the board of directors for Business Women Inspirational Network and is also a member of Watchmen on the Wall Prayer Network and the Independent Book Publishers Association. Born and raised in Southern California, she currently lives in Orlando, Florida, with her daughter.
