Workforce Mobility, Training, Rental Relocation and Destination Services
Greater St. Louis Area
I have been involved in workforce mobility and rental relocation for over 17 years. I have enjoyed being involved in training and developing an excellent team of touring agents, relocation specialists and sales experts. Currently I am working on development of our destination services products to make our offerings more robust. CORT currently offers area orientations, settling in, housing tours, rental assistance, apartment locating, rental furniture, housewares, and lump sum relocation assistance. We work with contractors, expats, 80% of the Fortune 500 companies, Relocation Service Providers, Destination Service Providers, and small to large companies that need to relocate employees.

ASI, Inc. was a small company that had 1 office when i joined. I opened or helped open 3 offices. Early on with the company I saw a need and developed and implemented a training program and employee handbook. When the Internet came along I assisted the owner in developing a website they still use today. We also reworked largely how we did business and coached the team through that change. I enjoyed working directly with the owner to really break new ground in an industry that was very new. What I enjoyed most was the freedom to be a visionary and work with a visionary. In doing so we were able to create something of real value and have fun in the process.

This was my first job out of college. I wouldn't trade the experience and training I received for anything. It was a hard job with long hours but with a company known for excellent training and high expectations. I learned invaluable skills in regards to customer service and how to deal with difficult customers. At a very early age I took on responsibilies for building revenue, training, and collaborating with other departments. Every day presented new tasks and challenges. I enjoyed it and still miss it some days.
