* I was the managing editor for the Global Media Initiative, a group of 20 SJSU students who traveled to London and Paris in March 2009 to gain international reporting experience.
* I blog for San Jose Metblogs, a network of hyperlocal blogs.
* I am an active Twitterer and have been named one of the top 10 journalists on Twitter by prominent blogger Mark Luckie at 10,000 Words.
* I have worked as a copy editor and designer for three years at the Visalia Times-Delta, a daily newspaper in Central California. That job also included uploading to the Web, managing online comments and editing a videocast for about two months.
* I was editor-in-chief of The Campus, the weekly newspaper for College of the Sequoias, as well as The Truth Xposed, a Visalia-based youth magazine dedicated to giving at-risk youth a creative outlet.
