I was involved in the planning of events for all of Blue Cross of CA sales agents as well as the National sales agents at WellPoint, the holding company. This involved conception (i.e., trade show design) to completion (on-site event management) as well as the marketing, budgeting and promotions of all of the events. I planned anywhere from 20 to 100 events a year, depending on budgets - and budget cuts. In some cases I was given 24 hours notice, in others (for example the WellPoint Expo) I designed this program over a 2 year period.
