Director of Catechetical Ministries at Diocese of Springfield in Illinois
Springfield, Illinois Area
I hold a BA in theology and pastoral ministry from Quincy University and a MA from Aquinas Institute of Theology. I work to strengthen diocesan catechetical programs, including the delivery of catechist training and the implementation of the National Directory for Catechesis.
I have made a number of presentations over the years on such topics as using technology in ministry, Catholics and the Bible, and the moral world of Harry Potter. I have also published several columns on healthcare ethics in the Michigan Catholic, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
My interests include the use of technology in ministry; faith development in the family and across generations; healthcare ethics; and promoting an authentically Catholic understanding of the Scriptures.
