As part of the design team at Design Haus, I am responsible for visual and UI design and build for client based projects. This includes everything from basic brochure style through to high-end e-commerce and media driven websites.
One of my key roles within the design team consists of digital production and implementation. This can cover anything from story boarding, scripting and organising video shoots through to final edit and post production.
With an every increasing need for web 2.0 technologies within the internet market and the availability of faster broadband connections this is becoming a very popular addition to any website.

2004 — 2005 (1 year)
Due to my employer at Webmap making plans to move over sea’s I found myself in a position to carry on with current contacts and job leads I had already established within the company. Being a strong believer in making the best out of any situation I decided in the short term to pursue a freelance career.
This proved to be a fruitful and educational period in my career, where I not only progressed as a designer but started to develop a greater understanding for the complete process on a personal scale.
It was during this period of freelance consulting I developed a great working relationship with the staff at Deisgn Haus. I was immediately struck by the passionate approach they had to the work along with a personal interest in each clients needs and objectives. So when the offer came to join the team, I was more than happy to become one of Design Haus family.

I was taken on at Webmap Ltd originally as a Senior Designer, to maintain, train and run the existing design team of two other staff. During my time at Webmap this role developed further into Creative Lead / Project Manager.
In August 2001 I managed the implementation of newly purchased local service provider into Webmap, with the transfer of over two hundred active clients and their websites, dial-ups and email accounts. The move was a great success with minimal downtime for all clients.
The skills I established at Cintranet helped greatly with this task, which I put down as one of my biggest achievements whilst working for Webmap.

At Carlton Creative I held the position of Customer Service Manager. This position saw me fulfilling many roles varying from making sure work carried out for customers was met with the highest standards, to training staff and customers with the latest software and technologies within the new movement that became the internet.

1992 — 1996 (4 years)
My initial position within Champion Sports saw me working very closely with manufacturers and suppliers, staying up up to speed with the latest technologies in sports footwear and then training staff accordingly.
When Cobra Sports took over the high street branches of Champion Sports I was promoted to deputy manager of the main high street branch whilst still maintaining my original role as technical advisor within the new company. My extra duties involved with this new promotion saw me being responsible for six full time staff and five Saturday staff in the managers absence. Further duties would include handling all cash matters, being a key holder for the premises along with training staff when needed.

Within my position of shop manager for Hythe Marina Watersports, I was entrusted with the day to day running of this very busy specialist shop. This involved such things as customer service, key holder for the premises and the managing and training of full time and part time staff.
