Infrastructure Team Leader at Nokia
Finland
As a continuation of the previous job I'm now managing a small team of skilled engineers.
In my day to day job I need to be capable to understand the needs of our customers, negotiate the requirements and satisfy them. Make words become real systems and services.
At the same time I take part in the architecture design both at system and application level and coordinate the job of the team members in an Agile manner. I like to code in Python and Django, language and framework daily used in our department.
I have hands on expertise in a wide range of Open Source tools for software development, from Apache, MySQL, Postfix, Ldap to Trac, Subversion, Bugzilla, GIT, Mercurial (Hg+) and many others.
On the personal side I'm patient and a good communicator, I easily adapt to new challenges and try to build a good working environment around me.
I've had the opportunity to start working in the age of digital media revolution in an open source organization and my skills are heavily influenced by this, I'm interested in everything that is rolling around Internet and digital communications.
