Stephen Worrall’s Summary
Stephen M. Worrall is an experienced family law and estate planning attorney in Marietta, Georgia. He concentrates his practice in all areas of family law, including divorce, adoption, prenuptial agreements, domestication of foreign decrees, child custody, child support, property division, alimony, modification, paternity, legitimation, contempt, enforcement of judgments, domestic violence and name changes, as well as wills, trusts, advance directives and estate planning. He practices primarily in the Superior Courts in the metropolitan Atlanta area, including Cobb County, Fulton County, Bartow County, Paulding County, Cherokee County, DeKalb County and Gwinnett County, among others throughout Georgia. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal trial and appellate courts in the State of Georgia.
Mr. Worrall graduated with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1983. He practiced in the Buckhead area of Atlanta from 1983 until 1995, when he moved his office to his hometown suburb in Marietta. He is a member of the Family Law sections of the Cobb County Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association. He is also a Barrister in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court. He has served as President of the Cobb County Bar Association Family Law Section and Editor of the Cobb Bar News, the newsletter for the Cobb County Bar Association, which won an award from the State Bar of Georgia. He is married and has three children. He is an Atlanta native and has lived in Cobb County all of his life. He is active in community arts organizations. He is a Martindale Hubbell Peer Review AV® rated attorney, the highest such rating available to any individual lawyer.
