Customer service - not all programmers can interface as well with people as with computers. :) I consider the ability to do both a rather uncommon gift.

We are, at the core, an IT outsourcing firm. We primarily support and extend our clients' Open Systems Accounting Software (OSAS) installations, although we do comprehensive IT work for some of our larger clients.
We also own and operate a SMTP proxy service that filters spam and viruses for our clients. Our service has some features which make it not only unique, but elevate it to best-in-class status.
My job duties include telephone and on-site support, OSAS development and more general programming projects, as well as the regular care and feeding of the CleanMessage server farm. I am also working with the owners of the company on long-term plans to continually improve the CleanMessage service.

At JustThe.net I created unique software solutions for my clients, from a heavily- customized shopping cart for a Baltimore-based folk-music magazine to a Windows software package that automates all aspects of the operations of a dog show entry service in Palmdale, California.
Although I also provided more mundane services like website and email hosting, my focus was on providing specific solutions for clients' special needs, whether that entailed customizing off-the-shelf software (like the shopping cart) or coming up with a complete from-scratch solution (like the dog show entry software).
