In 2002, after many years in industry, I returned to research and development, to science. I continue to apply my research to problems I know well in high technology.
Our work at IASE explores the foundations of logic and apprehension. Our goal is to enable an explanation of experience in nature, the formal characterization of sensory and motile architecture in biology, to provide the means to engineer motile machines that experience, and develop tools for reasoning about associated behaviors.
The scope of our work is broad, it includes
- the physical engineering of sense and motility
- operational models of sentient individuals
- behavioral models of these individuals in groups
Practically, this requires we develop rigorous and systematic methods for reasoning about this physical engineering and behavior.
IASE is a 501(c)3 non-profit science organization with California charity status. I am fundraising and recruiting for this defining commitment.
