  • Senior Online Developer

    DeakinPrime

    May 2007Present (2 years 3 months)

    Achievements:
    - Plan and develop a new online courseware system (built using XHTML, JavaScript and CSS), which can communicate to any SCORM 1.2-compliant Learning Management System. The main advantages of the new system are that we can "skin" the courseware to suit our clients' brand styles easily and also add new functionality using Javascript (or Flash for multimedia) as needed. It allows us to be able to build a new fully functional courseware for new clients in a very short time frame.

    - Plan, design and develop the user interface of the Student Portal system. Working closely with our .Net developers, the new Student Portal has a XHTML structure which is semantically correct, and allows custom "skins" for different clients. The Student Portal system also uses web services and XSLT to provide enhanced functions (e.g results display, assignment upload).
