o LifeXpress applications was delivered for the Web using GWT/Ext GWT RIA technology, and a third party Life Insurance Underwriting Rules Engine from Allfinanz.
• Recruitment and mentoring of development staff (built project team from 2 to 10)
• Tool & process improvement including contribution of the SDLC portion of the Zurich Project Life Cycle, a companywide project delivery methodology.
• Architecture design and business case contribution for numerous projects, including “My Zurich”, Zurich’s first direct to customer online portal to provide Superannuation fund balances and policy information. Project integrated a Spring based Java web application using LDAP, WebSphere, online access vi Web Services and CICS to legacy Mainframe and construction and integration with a data mart based on the EBI project
