Steve Madsen’s Summary

My background is primarily UNIX-based server-side development. I have worked on software at all levels of the server: kernel NIC drivers on Linux and Solaris, Berkeley socket server applications, Apache modules and web applications written in Rails and PHP.

Most recently, I have taken on iPhone development, with two applications currently selling on the iTunes App Store and several more in the pipeline.

I believe that there is an elegant solution to every problem and that it is nearly always better to take a little extra time to find it, instead of jumping on the first idea that looks "good enough."
