MediaMax was spun-out of Streamload taking over the company’s legacy subscription-based, consumer storage service.
- Started all new company from the ground-up: team, strategy, product, office & IT infrastructure.
- Raised $570k in new capital, hired and managed 12-person offshore engineering team, and successfully built an entirely new consumer web application and API.
- Maintained customer and partner commitments, and generated $1.5M in revenue in first 12 months.
- The Company ultimately failed due to complex IP licensing issues with the parent company and a massive technical failure. An extremely disappointing outcome, but many valuable lessons were learned.
