• Author of seven textbooks on precision sheet metal with an expertise in Precision Press Brake Operations a professional trainer with eleven training DVDs. Presenting both in-house and public training programs through Asma and FMA.
• In 2007 we expanded Asma into include sheet metal manufacturing on an extremely small scale: under .015-inches thick and to tolerances of +/- .001 inches.
• Founded the world’s first on-line magazine dedicated to the precision sheet metal trade: The Precision Sheet Metal Chronicle. Receiving FMA education award in 1999 and is in its eleventh year of publication.
• Author of 61 published articles in: Forming and Fabricating (SME), TheFabricator.com and The Fabricator (FMA), The International Sheet Metal Review (Mac Press, London, UK)
• Wrote the questions and answers for FMA’s Sheet Metal Certification program.
• Produced FMA’s first “on-demand” narrated PowerPoint training program on the subjects of: Press Brakes, Calculator Math, Blueprint interpretation and Proper use of precision hand measurement tools.
• Co-founded in 1988 BikePAC of Oregon and was the first Secretary/Treasurer. I was responsible for aspects of setting up and running a 501c3 non-profit. The position included coordinating with Oregon’s Secretary of State to keep and maintain the proper records and filings required of a Political Action Committee..

My goal is to bring my knowledge and expertise to everyone who cares about precision sheet metal especially when it comes to press brakes. Keeping the knowledge of past alive, blending that knowledge into today’s technologies and challenges.
