As a subcontractor at NASA, worked in a wide range of areas, including problem determination, maintaining the VM computers in the Space Shuttle computer development lab, various other lab computers on the NASA JSC campus.
Was Technical Lead in 1993 in hooking BMC up to the Internet.
At both BMC and NASA have maintained the production email infrastructure, on HP Openmail and Profs respectively.
Spent 2 years working as a Psychiatric Tech late teens in an alcohol and drug abuse rehab hospital: an experince that has had lifelong benefits as a manager.
