Since 1992 Stephen has been associated with the Antiques & Fine Art business in various challenging roles. MD Greystones Gallery, New Business Manager at The Auction Channel, MD Arts and Crafts Company and founding Chairman of the Lechlade Antique Dealers Association (40+ independent members). Stephen also served as Deputy Mayor of Lechlade on Thames, Gloucestershire (pop 2500).
Stephen Sheppard in 2008 was engaged as Saleroom & Internet Business Manager for The Cotswold Auction Company based in Cheltenham UK. Stephen assumed responsibility for the Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham Fine Art & Antiques Salerooms, including the Live Internet Bidding platform and Bidmaster Auction Information Technology. Global Fine Art & Antiques IT & Multimedia Consultant. 2008 acheivements include introducing objects to The British Museum, London UK and private collections worldwide. Stephen also joined Friends of Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum UK.
In 2009 Stephen returned to Arts and Crafts Company as MD, a company founded by Stephen in 2005 specialising in Arts and Crafts 1900 - 1990. 2009 acheivements include introducing objects to The Museum of Rural Life Reading UK and private collections worldwide. Stephen worked on BBC TV (Antiques) with Jonty Hearnden and joined Antiques are Green, NADFAS and Virtual Auction (Europe).
