    • Produced the final publication necessary for Oak Street to be considered for admittance as an Urban Main Street: this publication included an architectural survey of the area, detailed maps, documented historical information, support from local merchants, guarantees from financial supporters that they would match funds raised, and a grant application that explained why Oak Street should be and needs to be included in the program.
    • Out of the twenty applicants, the State of Louisiana chose to allow four programs to become an Urban Main Street program. Oak Street was chosen and work has already begun in the area.
