I love the internet, I love working on the internet, I love mobile internet, I love online social inter-activities and I love turning these circles into markets. I am a keen internet business evangelist and I predominantly work online. I have had many many many years of experience in this field, as I have been online since the first modems hit South African shores at the age of 11. Before that, I was playing lemmings in dos :)

    I work within the Naspers group, for a subsidiary company called 24.com (www.24.com). It is South Africa, and probably Africa's largest online portal, ranking as the #1 property for SA internet users. I work in the mobile department, where I am the Product Marketing specialist. My role includes (in keyword form) the following: market research, product research, strategy, product development, usability, analytics and marketing.

Although this is not really the type of job I see myself in, I do think it was a valuable learning curve.
