Stefano Bendandi’s Summary

Degree in Law at University of Teramo, I also hold a Security+ certification (COMP001002811188) in the realm of IT Security released by Computing Technology Industry Association (http://certification.comptia.org/security/default.aspx).

During the years, through different professional experiences, I've acquired a deep knowledge of the operation and matters related to the IT and Security function, developing a competence in the fields of IT / Security governance, the protection of the personal data (privacy) and the new technologies, both from a legal and technological perspective.

I have been co-author of two books on the right to privacy in the libraries and on the legal/technical aspects of the traditional and certified (PEC) electronic email systems.

Recently I've published an ebook on the protection of personal data in the digital marketing and promotional activities according to the current italian privacy laws.

Enrolled in the bar of lawyers and of technical consultants (computer science) of the court of Pescara, trainer, I participate actively in conferences and seminars and contribute regularly to the drafting of articles on the topic of new technologies.

I'm a member of AIPSI (Issa Italian Chapter) and ANDIP (Associazione Nazionale per la difesa della privacy) and a blogger at "IT & Dintorni"(http://stefanobendandi.blogspot.com) and "Laboratorio Diritto & ICT" (http://labdirittoict.blogspot.com), both devoted to close examination of the legal issues of the new technologies.
