    After 5 years as CEO for Lasercad as well as working with 3D festival and game development it was time for a new career move. Graphisoft the company behind ArchiCAD, started up a new subsidiary in CAD object technology with offices in Budapest, Munich, London and Boston. I moved to the head office in Budapest to start up the company, as responsible for PR, marketing, branding, productdevelopment and also active work in the board as well as management. At later stage I also worked with direct sales of GDL catalogues.

    As a new member of the Andante group and together with Jimmy Hassel we started what would become the largest 3D and computer graphic event in Europe. I was responsible for concept, international contacts as well as director of the event that was annually in October. After the two first successful years in Malmö Slagthus with more than 5000 attendees and Oscar awarded companies as speakers (ILM, Pixar, Dreamworks, Disney) the event moved over to Denmark in Copenhagen and new investors went in.

    CEO to a 50 man operation with offices in Malmö, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Budapest. Company became the main player of CAD and 3D in Scandinavia. Three innovation prices was given in 2000 and 2001 for IT productions for Smart CAD objects and NCS color palette for ArchiCAD. Main tasks were to build up the organisation, lead and inspire as well as make large account deals. Milestones were large contract with Swedish road authorities to digitally document Yttre Ringvägen, three large education projects for Architects (CAD) and 3D modellers/animators and establishing ArchiCAD on the Swedish market as the leading Architectural CAD package. During this time I also worked at the management steering committee of the Andante group as well as being senior advisor in acquisitions of new companies. This also meant that confounding 3D festival and Malamute game development was included as duties during the same time, see below.

    The work here was to lead and advice the board as well the 3D modellers and 3D animators how to produce the material for the game Zelenghorm. During 1999 together with cofounder Toby Jörgensen we also worked with large publisher in the US too try o sell the game. Negotiations went on with Atari, Take2interactive & Electronic Arts but finally the game was delayed and published by Malamute and released many years after I left at Xmas 2002. 3D software used in the game creation was Zoom, Form Z and electric Image.

    Together with Johan Einarsson founded the CAD software and CAD consulting firm LaserCad AB. My responsibilities were international contacts, management and leading the sales team. Big achievements were 8 years of solid growth and profitability. Distribution, development and localization of CAD and 3D software like ArchiCAD, topCAD, MacBravo, Cutline, Logocorrector. The later was successfully sold in Northern Europe, USA and Japan. Milestones were Apple Value added dealership for computer aided design in 1988, MacWorld Expo in San Fransisco and Tokyo 1990 as the only Swedish company present, ArchiCAD distributorship in 1991, opening of Powerstore in Malmö in 1992 new concept for selling PC’s and games. Cofounder Johan Einarsson left the company in 1993 to pursue “the internet” and the rights for Cutline and Logocorrector was sold. In Summer 1995 Lasercad AB was acquired by IT business angel, Anders Svensson and Andante AB. The company then employed 11 people in Malmö and Stockholm.
