I write for a number of online and print publications on the subject of robots and artificial intelligence. I also photograph robot events. My articles and photographs have appeared in Servo Magazine, Robot Magazine, the robots.net blog, Robot Practioner Journal, Robot Explorer Newsletter, and other publications. I've been interviewed or quoted on the subject of robotics by numerous publications such as the New York Times and USA Today. I've also acted as a technology consultant on robotics for the Nova series, the Discovery Network, even on a CSI: New York script.
I am also a software developer. I program in C, PERL, and other languages. I work extensively with free software and open source technologies such as GNU/Linux, Apache, PostgreSQL, and libxml2.
