Responsible for several projects in the area of Knowledge Mapping, acquisition, management, analysis and modeling of the spatial and temporal dimension of Health data in order to look at Health system performances and Health Inequalities. Initiator and coordinator of the Second Administrative Level Boundaries data set project (SALB, http://www3.who.int/whosis/gis/salb/salb_home.htm), the Physical Accessibility to Health care Modeling project (AccessMod, http://www.who.int/kms/initiatives/accessmod/en/index.html) and the Geographic Component of the WHO World Health Survey (WHS, http://www.who.int/healthinfo/survey/en/) and SAGE survey (http://www.who.int/healthinfo/systems/sage/en/index4.html).
