I started my career with Tejasvi Centre for Disabled (a School for Mentally Retarded) and then was instrumental in different activities for people with disabilities. I was instrumental in setting up Braille Production Centre and Computer Training centre at National Association for the Blind (Karnataka Branch), Bangalore India in the year 2002.
In the year 2004, I was instrumental in setting up a computer Training Centre for Visually Impaired under Inforays Technologies, Hyderabad.
In November, 2005 - I joined Net Systems Informatics (India) Pvt. Ltd as an Accessibility Tester. I was responsible to test websites as per Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 1.0.
In addition, I was responsible to sell Accessibility workshops (for Section 508, WCAG 1.0, Creating Accessible e-Learning using Flash) organized by the company. Further to create awareness among Government sector about accessibility.
In the year 2007, N-Syst started BarrierBreak Technologies as a subsidiary firm to deliver focused services of accessibility. At BarrierBreak, among the accessibility business, I was also responsible to propagate and seel Techshare India 2008 - India's 1st Accessibility and Assistive Technology Conference and exhibition and subsequent Roadshows.
Further, I was also responsible to create awareness Assistive Technologies such as products of Dolphin Computer Access and Optelec.
I moved on from N-Syst in April, 2009.
