I am the Dean of Student Affairs and a digital media professor at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism (where I have been based since 1992). I am contributing editor at DNAinfo.com, a news startup in NYC. I am co-founder of SAJA, the South Asian Journalists Association, SAJA.org
