Cheryl DeMarco’s Summary

I am a certified coach and consultant whose specialty is emotional intelligence and communications skills development.

I graduated from College of New Jersey, where I received a B.S. in education, then taught in the Hammonton Elementary School for 18 years. In the last four years as a teacher, I attended law school at night, and in 1989 earned a Juris Doctorate. I was employed by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s office from 1990 to 2001 as an assistant prosecutor assigned to the trial section, and am a veteran of over 60 jury trials.

After taking early retirement in 2001, I began coach training, while continuing with my legal career. I graduated and became certified in early 2004, but began full-time coaching in January 2007. I am a specialist in emotional intelligence skills development, with over 1000 hours of training and two separate advanced certifications. My coaching is based in emotional intelligence and communications skills, which I use to help my clients create focus and harmony in their lives. I have done numerous presentations for civic organizations, and am a regular columnist for Cerise News, a monthly women-focused newspaper.

I have two grown daughters, Amy and Judi, who live and work in Washington DC and Boston MA respectively, and a stepdaughter Maria, away at college. My practice is currently based Mays Landing, New Jersey.
