Research and Development engineer with in-depth experience in analyzing massive amounts of data. Skill sets span from developing high-performance software systems to process the data to working with data mining and statistical techniques towards making sense of the data. Currently working with network traffic data towards understanding behavior of "malicious" traffic as compared to "normal". I have been involved in complete product life-cycle from conception of research idea, patenting, fast prototyping, product development and assisting marketing and sales. I collaborate with several university faculty and students through a research program and have published about 20 papers in international conferences and journals, hold 1 patent with USPTO and have co-authored 6 USPTO patents pending. I also write regularly for my current company's blog.
