I've been intrigued by and actively working with computers and Internet technologies for about 15 years. My professional experience encompasses a wide variety of technologies that has led to an inherent understanding of the mental and organizational shifts that result from technology changes.
From college computer clusters and early workgroup paradigms, to consulting at dozens of organizations with diverse technological requirements, business conceptions and priorities, through my time in the DotCom boom/bust/recovery, I've had the opportunity to compare and contrast the differences between organizational structures and technological choices.
I have very simple, yet profoundly unrealistic expectations for my career and any organization I work with. I want to be challenged on a variety of fronts and I want all my strengths to be considered, not just the purely technical ones. My interests in social networking, cultural evolution, philosophy and futurism are tightly integrated into my views on business and technology.

I feel my greatest strengths are in troubleshooting, pattern recognition, comprehending data flows and complex interconnectivity. I believe that expertise in any specific area, while useful, is merely a part of a larger and more valuable skill - technological adaptability. How well one is able to encompass the technological reality of an organization, comprehending what must stay, what must go and what must be improved is the mark of the best managers and directors.
