I've been fortunate to experience a wide variety of personal and professional pursuits.
Professionally, I've experienced both the traditional corporate world as a lawyer in Manhattan, and the thrilling, exhaustive entrepreneurial journey of turning an idea into a reality. I continue to be involved as an entrepreneur doing business development with Myxer, a company deeply involved in the exciting evolution of the personal mobile experience.
Throughout it all, I've tried to continue my lifelong personal interest in music as a percussionist with a variety of traditional and electronic groups, including Thievery Corporation. I've also recently been involved in representing the Sikh community as a model and activist through Kenneth Cole's advertising campaign and corporate initiative around how individuals in the United States and beyond can make a difference.

Granted permission by the Duke administration to design a unique course of study for my undergraduate degree entitled "International Business & Globalization," which examined the impact an increasingly global community had on various international and domestic business and social practices and norms in the late 1990's.
As part of this curriculum, I studied how various global music trends helped to create diverse social environments, and received a grant for over $5k to travel Europe and do field research. Upon returning, I applied these findings to events aimed at creating more diverse social environments on Duke's campus through Students to Unite Duke, raising over $30k to create successful social programs, with some events drawing as high as 25% of the school's registered undergraduate population of over 6k.
