Orlando, Florida Area
Currently, I am teaching full time Entertainment and Design Technology courses at Valencia Community College, East. I am passionate about my classes and I embrace a direction for the visual spatial learner's -(Lighting Design, Creative Design, Introduction to Stage Lighting, and Survey of Entertainment).
I am also freelance Lighting Designer & Consultant for the entertainment industry. Owner and operator in partnership with George Jackson of Sfumato Design Group, LLC. Our company is fastly growing as we specialize in lighting, design, productions, churches, special events, digital and multimedia. Overall we offer lighting consultations, designs and *new visualization lighting software for our clientele in the Central Florida area. Our staff is strong in design concepts and has an extensive background in lighting and entertainment.
In addition to working in numerous traditional theatrical settings, my work has had a strong focus on site-specific and experimental theatrical. I have developed unique skills for working in various and conflicting styles and situations from traditional theatrical venues and non-traditional venues to installation pieces.
My goal for 2008 is to learn to fluently program and become more proficient in programming on more moving light consoles and drafting programs :)
