I was eager to become a Certified Parent Educator after taking the Redirecting Children's Behavior (RCB) course since it made a significant improvement in my relationship with both my son and co-parent.
I enjoy working with families and educators and look forward to helping to make a difference in their homes and classrooms by teaching the RCB program myself. I also offer 24 separate one-hour workshops with a more specific focus. While my focus will be on improving relationships between adult and child, I also want to highlight the importance of nurturing and strengthening the relationship between co-parents.
Families with children of all ages will benefit from these workshops and course as well as educators working with young people (from toddlers - teens). With the Knowledge of Y.O.U., I am now able to incorporate these tools to help people create and maintain perfect relationships in their lives.

As a Certified Parent Educator my goal is to create a happier and healthier relationship between parent and child through the Redirecting Children's Behavior course as well as 24 individual workshops on more specific topics, such as communicating with teens, temper tantrums, and sibling rivalry.
While my focus is on co-parenting relationships, my services are available to all parents, educators and individuals wanting to create more positive and open relationships in their lives, whether with a child or another adult.

The important thing about my role in marketing the books that Kane/Miller publishes is the passion that I have for literature and art.
The fact that I get to promote wonderful books from around the world and introduce them to the adults who share them with a child is a phenomenal opportunity and a big responsibility. I stand behind the values and ideals behind the company's motivation for bringing these books to an American audience and I truly believe that my love for the books themselves comes through in promoting the authors and illustrators who help us to create a more globally aware reader.

Although Kane/Miller does advertise in print publications, my speciality is in online marketing / advertising. It truly is helpful to have such diverse markets to work with. Teachers (of all levels in the education field), Librarians, Gift Store Owners, Parents, and of course, Booksellers are a diverse group of people, but we truly do have books for everyone's taste.
It is easy to promote Kane/Miller since the books we publish are ones that our readers enjoy sharing with others. Word-of-mouth marketing means that others practically do my job for me but it's always great to meet new people and extend my network into specialty markets and other industries to expose them to Kane/Miller and children's literature from around the world.
