Based in Toulouse I was responsible for the procurement of production equipments for the French sites. My role consisted in coordinating the acquisition projects of complete production lines, specific equipments and maintenance contracts:
● Definition, implementation and coordination of purchasing strategies
● Integration of purchasing processes in early project phases: simultaneous engineering
● Coordination of the project from the technical definition to the serial production launch
● Coordination of internal and external representatives

I joined Wärtsilä to take part in a new engine range development and industrialisation project, in joint-venture with the American manufacturer Cummins. I was involved in the very early phases of the JV project and fulfilled the three following missions:

My role was to reorganise the purchasing activities on the Mulhouse site, in cooperation with the other European sites.

the engine tests

● Definition of target costs with the Engineering and Marketing departments
