Nina Bargiel brings to the table seven years' writing experience in the kids and tween market. She wrote 17 of the 65-episode run of the award-winning Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire, receiving two Emmy nominations for her efforts. She's also worked for Cartoon Network’s Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, penning their highest-rated feature "Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure" as well as varied other live-action and animated shows for Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.
In addition to her television work, Nina has written for Consumating’s blog CONSUME, Wellsphere, BARK magazine, and slackerbonding.com. She started blogging weekly back in 1997 at theslack.com, and moved to a daily blog in 2006 at theslackdaily.com, and started vlogging at http://slackmistress.blip.tv/
In January 2008, Nina began The Post-Apocalyptic Workout (zombieworkout.com) where she will document her attempt to become a useful member of society in case of natural disaster, nuclear fallout, terrorist attacks or a zombie revolution. In May 2008, she founded the Uber.com community Antisocial Networking, which covers the politics of nerd dating and relating in a social networking world.
Nina is available for all of your writing, producing, proofreading, story-breaking and copyediting needs.
When not chained to her MacBook, playing nerd yenta or increasing her running-away-from-zombies speed, she can be found zipping around in her pink Mini Cooper with her husband Will and her dog Daisy fighting crime and grocery shopping.
