Nina Bargiel brings to the table nearly ten years of writing experience in the kids and tween market. She wrote 17 of the 65-episode run of the award-winning Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire, receiving two Emmy nominations for her efforts. She's also worked for Cartoon Network’s Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, penning their highest-rated feature "Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure" as well as varied other live-action and animated shows for Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.
Most recently, she worked on "Woke Up Dead," an Internet series starring Jon Heder for Electric Farm Entertainment.
In addition to her television work, Nina has ghostwritten for private clients as well as for the popular tween book series "The Beacon Street Girls" for B*Tween Productions, and has written under her own byline for Consumating’s blog CONSUME, Wellsphere, BARK magazine, and slackerbonding.com.
She started blogging weekly back in 1997 at theslack.com, and moved to a daily blog in 2006 at theslackdaily.com. She also blogs for the popular humor site pointlessbanter.net, and is the Internet & Technology editor at kirtsy.
Nina is available for all of your writing, producing, proofreading, story-breaking and copyediting needs.
When not chained to her MacBook, playing nerd yenta or increasing her running-away-from-zombies speed, she can be found zipping around in her pink Mini Cooper with her husband Will and her dog Daisy fighting crime and grocery shopping.
