Migration of 15 year old Telecom legacy billing/discounting system via human readable meta-data extracts. Documented the legacy system technical low-level functionality from the end user documentation, user workshops and inspection of the original C application coding. The resultant documentation pack is now given to new IT&N staff. Used rapid application design (RAD) Modelling to indentify data trends, confirm data assumptions. Rationalised existing data whilst removing redundant data. Retaining but captured any data inconsistencies to ensure an unchanged customer experience. Produced domain reports to provide high level views to the Teleco's own data previously hidden in the details. A new role is to be created in Orange to provide this service on an on-going basis.
