Natural Innovator
Brussels Area, Belgium
Born and grown up in Germany, studied Communication Systems for International Relations in Italy and now nomading between Brussels, London, Greece, Germany...
Apart from being co-founder of the Hub Brussels, I do process design and facilitation work for social innovation in English, German and Italian.
My inquiry is all about how to innovate naturally. How can we design spaces, initiatives, communities etc. by building on what is authentic, meaningful and sustainable, and letting go of what is not serving?
I am working with the U-process http://www.presencing.com/ and I am a practitioner of the art of hosting meaningful conversations and initiatives http://www.artofhosting.org/.
I have been working for CommunityIntelligence http://community-intelligence.com, the European Commission and the European Social Fund on supporting Communities of Practice, e.g. CoP on Partnership in the ESF http://partnership.esflive.eu/, for Siemens and WWF.
I am also a guardian of Axladitsa Avatakia http://www.axladitsa.org, a home place, an olive farm and a place of collective inquiry, learning and retreat - a place for Living Wholeness in Greece.
In the past I worked as a membership and project coordinator for EABIS http://www.eabis.org, as a facilitator of experiential workshops at the eco village PantaRei http://www.pantarei-cea.it/ and in the restaurant sector.
I love story telling, creative writing, dance and other forms of body work, meditation, cooking, being in nature and learning from natural systems.
My learning goals for this year are to get a basic understanding of biomimicry, improve my french and start speaking a little bit of dutch. I'd also like to do a course in graphic facilitation.

Axladitsa-Avatakia is a home place, an olive farm and a place of collective inquiry, learning and retreat, where the peaceful nature and community of wildlife create a powerful living systems 'container' - a place for Living Wholeness.
Axladitsa is a practice ground and catalyst for exploring the relationship between the power of the place and the power of our work - through real-time continuous individual and collective inquiry - so participating in hosting the next level of our human evolution.

Facilitating natural innovation through co-creating safe containers for diverse groups to access their inner wisdom and putting their collective intelligence into life affirming action. Seeing organisations as eco systems and bringing back natural life cycles: building on what is meaningful, authentic and sustainable, and gracefully letting go of what does not serve anymore.

The Hub is a growing network of collaborative workspaces for social innovation in major world cities. Hubs exist to inspire and support social innovators to realise imaginative initiatives for a radically better world. The Hub offeres membership of an inspirational habitat for innovators from different sectors, disciplines and backgrounds to work, meet, learn and connect in the physical and virtual space.
The Hub is a place for making things happen. All the tools and trimmings needed to cultivate an idea, launch a project, host a meeting and run a business. From Hubs across the world we have learned that social innovators need access to affordable spaces, resources and market-facing opportunities to thrive: space, knowledge, capital and networks. At The Hub one can find channels to such resources and opportunities, both on a global and a local level.
