Declared one of 2007’s Top Surgeons in America by the Consumer’s Research Council of America, Sigsbee Duck, M.D. is a highly talented and incredibly experienced physician with over 20 years of practice in his field. An Otolaryngologist, otherwise known as an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist (or ENT Specialist), Dr. Sigsbee Duck has committed himself to providing the highest level of care and medical expertise possible. Working in private practice since 1986, Dr. Sigsbee Duck was most recently the leader of Sagebrush Ear, Nose and Throat in Gillette, Wyoming, until its sale in 2008.
A graduate of the East Carolina University College of Medicine, Dr. Duck’s initial abilities as a medical student showed his incredible potential as a future leader in his field. Upon receiving his medical degree and completing a general surgical internship with the Kentucky Medical Center, Dr. Sigsbee Duck moved into the position of Otolaryngology resident at Emory University in Atlanta. Standing out among his peers, Dr. Sigsbee Duck was made chief resident of the program in his final year.
Sigsbee Duck, M.D. continued his conspicuous ascent in the field of Otolaryngology as a member of several prominent medical organizations and an author of numerous professional papers. Holding fellowships in both the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) and the American College of Surgeons, as well as several leadership roles in the Triological Society, Dr. Sigsbee Duck has shown a tremendous dedication to medical research and scholarship.
In his free time, Dr. Sigsbee Duck enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, and flying planes. An avid reader, Dr. Duck especially enjoys historical non-fiction and biographies such as Washington's Crossing by David Hackett Fischer and John Adams and Truman, both by David McCullough. A proud alumnus of Wake Forest University, and former mascot of the school, Sigsbee Duck, M.D. Duck still enjoys supporting Demon Deacon Athletics.
