The Plone Foundation was formed in May 2004 to serve as a supporting organization for Plone. We provide support for the development and marketing of Plone, and are modeled after similar ventures such as the Apache Software Foundation. The Plone Foundation is the legal owner of the Plone codebase, trademarks, and domain names. Our goal is to ensure that Plone remains the premier open source content management system and that we broaden its acceptance and visibility.

I originally joined Wolf and Associates as CTO. In that capacity I developed the first environmental web library in California to be powered entirely by open source software. Using a community software development model, we build many more environmental web libraries, and expanded the functionality of the software.
In 2005, I became managing partner of the firm. In this capacity I lead our efforts in business development and oversaw our operations to keep us productive, profitable, and focused on our goal of empowering environmental organizations with the best technologies available.
