President and CEO at The Elevator Group
Greater Philadelphia Area
I spent many years working as a journalist and editor before graduating from law school. Since then I have worked in active law practice in many areas, in education policy and planning, as a legal writing professor, assistant dean for academic support at a law school, adjunct law professor, and executive director of a nonprofit organization involved in education, training and research in the area of public school finance. I created a publishing company, The Elevator Group, (www.TheElevatorGroup.com) to publish my first novel, Chasing the 400. Since then I have published a second novel in Jan. 2009, called Land Mines, and the work of another author, Patricia Thomas' "A Christian Woman's Journal to Weight Loss." The companion journal to Land Mines, called Journaling through the Land Mines, wil be published in July 2009. I plan to publish two other new authors in 2009 and three more in 2010, besides continuing to write my own fiction and non-fiction books. I also have been speaking and conducting workshops and look forward to doing more of this in the future.
