Shawn Kinkade’s Summary

At the end of the day it's all about getting things done - working with business owners, I've discovered that most businesses get stuck somewhere and my aspiration is to help them get moving again!

I've had the opportunity to do a lot of interesting things in my life so far: A few years overseas working on a project helping Telecom Australia prepare for competition, One of the first 300 employees in a $10 Billion start-up, Day to day management responsible for a 3 1/2 year project with over 1000 people working on it...and finally working with smart, interesting business owners that are looking for ideas and better ways to grow their business to the next level.

I started out in Management consulting with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and I learned a huge amount about systems, business processes, strategy - all with major corporations in the U.S. and Australia.

My next step was an opportunity to be involved in a national start-up that became Sprint PCS. That was a great opportunity to learn about financial systems, product development, more strategy and leadership and management of a direct team of over 100 people and indirectly managing projects that had well over 1000 people on them.

All of that has led me to a great opportunity as the owner of my own Business Coaching practice. I work with business owners that want to find a better way to run their business or make more money, that are open to new ideas, trying new things or just tired of being overwhelmed without any support at the top of the ladder.

We help business owners plan better, take better actions and improve their bottom line results. Typical clients are small business owners of successful businesses that are frustrated with things like effective marketing, hiring good people or just burned out from working too many hours. We work with them on an one on one basis, as part of a facilitated peer group board or in educational workshops.
