I have a very broad background in many different ares of IT that have helped me quickly advance my career. I'm constantly looking for challenges and to expand into other areas. Some of my past experiences have included helpdesk roles and troubleshooting, networking, programming/scriptihg(Perl, PHP, Visual Basic, Java, C++,Tcl/Tk), unix and Windows server administration, web development and hosting, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP), forensics, intrusion detection, firewalls, and many others.
Some of the things I am proudest of are my open source instant messaging monitoring tool, AIM Sniff (www.aimsniff.com) and the Control-SA User's Group (www.controlsausers.com).
My latest endeavors are in the realm of Identity Management and web access control. I'm a very big fan of BMC's Control-SA because of it's ability to be totally customized for the business it's supporting. In the right hands, this is a great piece of software.
